Obituary of Robert Leo Pelletier

Robert “Leo” Pelletier PEABODY – Robert “Leo” Pelletier, 93, beloved husband of the late Mary (Bulyga) Pelletier, died peacefully on Sunday morning at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Peabody. Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Ernest and Angelina (Dumas) Pelletier. He was a lifelong resident of the city, and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1940. He worked at General Electric in Lynn for a 43 year career. Leo enjoyed living quietly at home. He enjoyed being outside tending to his garden, and also was an avid reader and word puzzle enthusiast. He loved animals, especially dogs as he enjoyed many as part of the family. He is survived by two grandchildren, Stephanie Cummings & her husband Richard of Peabody and Robert Brunelle & his wife Cheri of GA; four great-grandchildren, Tatum Brunelle, Brooke Brunelle, and Robbie Brunelle, Jr., all of GA and Jake Cummings of Peabody; a son-in-law James Brunelle of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son Robert Leo Pelletier, Jr., and daughters Mary Ann Pelletier and Judith Brunelle. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Thursday October 1, 2015 at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., followed by a Funeral Mass AT 11 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the Mass.
