Obituary of Frank A Cloutier

Frank A Cloutier, 81, of Salem, died early Monday morning at the Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Theresa (Gagnon) Cloutier. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Francis J and Olive (LeClair) Cloutier. He was a lifelong resident of Salem and attended the seminary in Joliette Canada. Frank was employed for over 35 years as a Junior Engineer Technician for the Varian Associates in Beverly, before retiring 26 years ago. Frank enjoyed going to Salem Willows, watching the Boston Bruins and was considered a great handyman who could just about fix anything. He enjoyed spending time with his family and later his grandchildren and great grandchildren and sharing in all of their endeavors. He is survived by his four sons, and daughters-in-law, Paul and Nancy Cloutier of Danvers, Marc and Christina Cloutier and John Cloutier, all of Amesbury, and Robert and Ann Cloutier of Salisbury, his two daughters and son-in-law, Renee and Paul Bouchard of Peabody and Diane Cloutier of Salem, his siblings, Raymond and his wife Alberta Cloutier of Danvers and Patricia and her husband John Sobotka of Seabrook, NH, his beloved grandchildren, Erica, Justin, Michael, Michelle, Jonathan, Ashley, Shannon, Amanda, and Brittany Cloutier, Rebecca Page, Jessica Benton, Brendan and Brian Bouchard, and Joey Velardi, and is also survived by two great grandchildren, Aryanna Rizzo and Jordan Page. He was predeceased by his siblings, Lorraine Walker, Pauline Cloutier, and Nancy Claveau. Frank’s funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Ste. Anne’s Church, Salem to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial Services will be private.
