Obituary of Ann L (Brown) Johnson

Ann L (Brown) Johnson, 73, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 2 at her home following a brief illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie Pearl (Brown) Hicks. She was raised and educated in Peabody, later lived in Lynn and has spent the last 34 years living in Peabody. Ann was employed with the D&R Market in Peabody for many years, prior to her retirement in 2009. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows with her cat Sylvester. She is survived by her son Jeff Gardner of Peabody and her two daughters, Julie and her husband George Drillis of Peabody and Terri Reynolds of Gloucester, her sister, Linda Hicks and her companion, Ron Janard of Beverly, and is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, and Jonathan Gardner, Miabella Drillis, Joe Richard, Alexis Starbird, Ezekiel Reynolds and Azriella Morong. Burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
