Obituary of Debra Marie Powers

Debra M. Powers, 57, of Gloucester, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Golden Care Living Center after an extended illness. She was born in Boston, MA on July 2, 1958, the daughter of the late Richard and Victoria (Minichiello) Powers Sr. and was raised in Boston graduating from St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury. Debra later resided in Milford, MA before moving to Gloucester. She had been a Deputy sheriff with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, Boston for 25 years prior to her retirement 10 years ago. She is survived by her brothers, Richard Powers Jr. of Milford and Michael and his wife Gina Powers of Peabody, a sister , Michelle and her husband Michael Lemier of Milford, her nieces and nephews, Leah and Nicole Powers, Gregory , Joseph and Matthew Powers. She was the mother of the late Victoria Powers. A Family service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford.
