Obituary of Christine E. (Cole) Raymond

Christine E. (Cole) Raymond PEABODY – Christine E. (Cole) Raymond, 56, beloved wife of the late Ronald Raymond, died peacefully after a brief illness at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Monday October 12, 2015, while in the comforting presence of her family. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of Gary and Carol (Dube) Cole of Peabody. She grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1976. She then earned a degree from Salem State College in business. She lived in Manchester, NH for the last 28 years. Ms. Raymond worked as a Bookkeeper first at St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, NH, and later with Sherwin Williams Paint. Christine was an avid reader, and was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter and friend who enjoyed 30 years of marriage with Ron until his recent death August 31. She volunteered with the Boy Scouts and youth baseball with her son. She was generous in spirit, supporting charitable causes, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by a son Robert Raymond of Manchester, NH; her parents Gary and Carol Cole of Peabody; two brothers Gary Cole and David Cole both of Peabody, and many niece and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leland Cole and Charles Mason. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a visitation on Thursday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Cremation will take place after the visitation and all are invited for a Graveside Funeral Service with urn burial on Monday October 19, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
