Maureen A. (Kane) Ciampa
DANVERS Maureen A. (Kane) Ciampa, 71, died unexpectedly at the Cedar Glen Harborview Healthcare Facility in Danvers following a brief illness.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Martin) Kane. She lived in Peabody for most of her life, attended Peabody schools and graduated from Peabody High School.
She enjoyed reading poetry, solving crossword puzzles, loved music and dancing, family and social gatherings where she would express her great sense of humor, and had a cobalt blue glass collection.
She is survived by: two sons and a daughter-in-law, James & Carol Bedford of Tewksbury and Kevin Ciampa of Saugus; a daughter, Lianne Ciampa of Saugus; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline & Scott Lee of Peabody, and a brother, William Kane of ME, she was the former wife of Carmine Ciampa of Saugus, and she leaves several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Ceremony will be held on Wednesday at 10 A.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St. location, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
Cremation will follow the ceremony.
