Obituary of Cheryl L Roberts

Cheryl L. Roberts, 69, of Saugus, died on Thursday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late David P. Roberts. Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Charlotte (Stoddard) Warrington. She was a life long resident of Saugus and a graduate of Saugus High School, class of 1964. Cheryl was employed with Sears and Roebuck Company in Saugus for over 28 years and served as a manager for many years before retiring. Cheryl enjoyed reading and going to the Saugus Senior Center and participated in the many activities at the Center. Her favorite time though, was the time she spent with her family including her children and grandchildren and sharing in all of their endeavors. She will be dearly missed by all as she was the matriarch of her family. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Roberts of Saugus and Jeffrey Roberts of Sanbornville, NH, her daughter, Bonnie LaRocque of Lynn, her brother Donald “Skip” Warrington of Beverly and Vance Warrington of NH, her sister, Melissa Warrington of Haverhill, her three grandchildren, Gilbert LaRocque, Jenara Martell, and Renee Roberts, her two great grandchildren, Jennalee and Zaniyah Elwell and was very close to all her nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody and her Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winter St., Saugus.
