Obituary of Barbara Nancy Barile
Barbara Nancy (Miller) Barile, 73, of Beverly and formerly of Peabody, died Thursday morning surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Dorothea (Small) Miller. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1959, where she played the clarinet in the high school marching band. She spent many years living in both Peabody and Pittsburg, NH.
Barbara enjoyed knitting, writing and learning, but her favorite past time was spending time with her children and grandchildren, sharing and supporting them in all of their endeavors. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa McManus of Lee, NH; Suzanne Bongette of Sherborn, MA; Christina Langone-Eberhart of Peabody; her sister, Doreen Gately of Saugus; many nieces and nephews; and by her seven beloved grandchildren. She was the former wife of Roger Barile of Peabody, currently of Texas. She was predeceased by her sister Marilyn Mitchell.
Please come share a memory of Barbara during a celebration of her life, Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A committal service will be held graveside on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 R Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
