Obituary of Maryrose "Penny" Courage

Maryrose “Penny” Courage, 55, of Lowell and formerly of Salem, died suddenly on Sunday October 25 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of Bruce W Courage Sr of Rowley and the late Janet (Chase) Courage. She was raised and educated in Salem and was employed as a waitress for several Salem restaurants. Penny is survived by her father and step mother Mary L Courage of Rowley, and by her siblings, Bruce Courage Jr and his wife Jody, Kevin, Eric, and Ian Courage and by her sister Cristin and her husband Chris Ellis. A private graveside service was held on Monday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
