Obituary of Dorothy May Gorham

Dorothy May (Price) Gorham of Apple Valley, California, died on Tuesday November 3rd, 2015 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late James G. Gorham. Born in Hants Harbor, Newfoundland on August 10, 1927, she was the daughter Chesley and Violet (Hiscock) Price of Newfoundland, Canada. Dorothy is survived by her sister Hannah Freeman of Apple Valley, CA, her brothers, Edward L Price and his wife Jean of Derry, NH, Wilbur Price of Fort Myers, FL., Allen g Price and his wife Audrey of Van Alstyne, TX, Frederick Price and his wife Brenda of Chester, NH and Peter and his wife Marie of Peabody, and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Lillian Stevens of North Conway, NH. Dorothy graduated from Somerville High School and upon her graduation, was employed at T.R.W. in Cambridge where she met her husband, for over 39 years. They both retired at the age of 62 and moved to Victorville, CA. She was a member of the Victorville United Methodist Church and was very active in the choir. Following cremation, a visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home. Interment will be in Desert View Memorial Park, Victorville, California.
