Obituary of Elana M Partridge

Elana M (Kolhonen) Partridge, 73, of Fitchburg and Leominster, and formerly of Peabody, died Sunday afternoon at the Golden Living Center in Fitchburg following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of the late James Partridge. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Aarne and Margaret (Leichner) Kolhonen. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1960. She was employed as a Dental Assistant for many dental offices on the North Shore before moving to Leominster in 1971. She lived there for 29 years and then in 2000 she moved to Fitchburg where she has lived for the past 15 years. She enjoyed drawing and painting and arranging dry flowers, and everyone who knew her loved her. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her brother, David Kolhonen of Danvers, her cousins, Arnold Kolhonen of Beverly and Joanne Howland of Wenham, and her niece Rae Ann Partridge. She was predeceased by her brother Eric Kolhonen. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the family lot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pine St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
