Obituary of Jean M. "Jeanne" Davis

Jean M “Jeanne” (Russell) Davis, 79, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Wednesday December 9 peacefully at her home. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Geraldine (Martin) Russell. She was raised and educated in Medford, and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1955. She later moved to Marblehead and has spent the last 51 years living in Peabody. Jean was employed for over 17 years at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington as a sandwich maker before retiring in 2002. Jean is survived by her three sons John R “Bobby” Davis and his wife Maria of San Diego, CA, Arthur R Davis of Bangor, ME and Paul A Davis and his wife Cheryl of Lancaster, her daughter, Christine A Davis of Brewer, ME, her sister, Adele Walsh of Peabody and by her four loving grandchildren, Jonah, Elise, Riley and Nathan Davis and by her great grandchild, Trevor. She was the former wife of Harry T. Davis of Ipswich. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody and her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St. Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private.
