Obituary of Edward P. Elibero Jr.

Edward P. Elibero Jr., 35, of Salem, MA, died peacefully in the loving presence of his parents at NSMC Salem Hospital ICU on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Edward was born in Lynn, the beloved son of Deacon Edward P. Elibero of the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative and Kathleen (O’Brien) Elibero of Peabody. He attended St. John’s School in Peabody and was a graduate of the Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School. Edward had worked in many areas of the service industry, including food service, child care, domestic management and compassionate care giver. He had a great eye for color coordination and his many talents included floral arranging and home decorating. He had a flair for writing with a beautiful command for expression along with a great personality and a sharp wit. He was beloved by all who know him. Among his great joys was Irish storytelling, complete with accent, music, theater and Karaoke with friends of whom he had a wide circle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three sisters, Kathleen West and her husband William of Danvers, Christina Elibero of Malden and Amanda Lendof and she husband Henry of Sanford, Florida. He is also survived by his three nephews and a niece, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and his dear friend, John Cyzon of Salem. Edward was pre-deceased by his brother, Kyle F. Elibero. A Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield with Rev. Paul Ritt officiating.
