Obituary of Grace M. (Lagg) Innis

Grace M. (Lagg) Innis, 82, of Peabody died suddenly at her home on Thursday, December 31, 2015. She was the wife of the late Alvan A. Innis. She was born in East Boston on November 9, 1933, the daughter of the late Margaret Lagg and was raised there before moving to Peabody 50 years ago. She had been employed as a secretary for the Metropolitan District Commission office in Boston for 40 years prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Assumption church, Lynnfield. Grace enjoyed traveling to the Islands as well as going to Ireland. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and was very fond of her Dachshund Dog “Levi”. She is survived by a brother-in-law Waren and his wife Aldyth, a niece, Robin Innis of Ipswich and a nephew, Ralph Innis of Peabody and many friends. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
