Obituary of Susan L. Brown

Susan L. Brown, 65, of Portsmouth, NH and formerly of Peabody, died peacefully at her home on Sunday January 3, 2016, after an extended illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Jackson) Brown and the late Warren P. Brown. She grew up in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School. She later graduated from Marion Court Junior College. Ms. Brown was an administrative assistant at Hodgdon, Wilson & Griffin Tax Accountants for many years. Sue was an avid fan of Boston sports teams. She loved and doted on her two cats Jackson & Gidget, enjoyed going to craft fairs, and often the loving butt of her brother’s jokes. She is survived by her mother Dorothy Brown of Peabody; a brother and sister-in-law Jeff & Virginia Brown of Peabody; two nieces Victoria & Julia Brown of Peabody; her three longtime friends who provided countless hours and unconditional love and support, Debbie & Mike Vigeant of NH, and Debra Latsbaugh of FL, and several aunts, cousins and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, and other long time friend Paul Desmond. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday January 9, 2016 for a visitation from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, with a Remembrance Service at 12:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA.
