Obituary of Andrew B Slepoy

Andrew B Slepoy, 71, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on December 30th at his home. Andrew was born in Peabody on January 14, 1944 and was the son of the late Andrew and Eldona (Miglinas) Slepoy. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1961. Andrew was employed as an Ultra Sonic Technician at General Electric River Works in Lynn for over 18 years before he retired. Andrew had an extensive collection of toy model cars and also enjoyed attending antique car shows as well. He enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets and was an avid bargain shopper. Andrew was also very active in his class reunions, especially from the Wallis School in Peabody. He is survived by his half sister Irene Barrett of Lynn and by several cousins and dear friends and will be missed by all. He was predeceased by his half brother and two dogs Gizmo and Patches. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody and his Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM at the funeral home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
