Obituary of David B Richardson

David B. Richardson, 74, of Boston and formerly of Peabody, died early Wednesday morning at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Ralph and Madeline (Bailey) Richardson. He was raised in Peabody, graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1959, and was a George Peabody Merit Medal Scholar. Following his graduation from high school, David earned both his Bachelor of Science Degree and later his Master of Business Administration Degree at Boston College. Before retiring, he was employed as an advertising executive with McGraw Hill and later as a real estate agent for A.E. Rondeau Realty in Boston. He was also a Veteran of the Vietnam War. David was fond of spending time in Vermont, Florida and on Cape Cod. Most of all he enjoyed the company of his loving family and friends. David is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ross and his wife Mary Richardson of Peabody; his two nieces, Jennifer Richardson and Elizabeth and her husband Dominic Pezzuto; his great nephew, Isaac Pezzuto; and many relatives and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody and his Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
