I mourn the passing of my dear cousin, Joe Agneta. In truth, we are all Spiritual Beings having a Human experience here on Earth. Our true nature is our Spiritual self. Joe fought bravely for life with his loving, soulmate, my dear cousin, Carol, devotedly caring for him in body and soul to the end of his Earthly journey. May his Spirit soar and his soul shine for eternity.

It has been many decades since Joe and I, both Marine Corps Korean War veterans, drove around greater Boston and the Cape in his MG as carefree young
men. Joe was the early friend I never forgot. He made me laugh uproariously,
had the quickest character sketches ever, enjoyed life to the hilt, and when
it was time for more serious pursuits, found Carol Ann. We had not crossed paths for many years, but Joe remains for me a man I admired who loved and lived a caring & generous life we can all look up to. With deepest condolences
to Carol Ann, Mark and Michael and family. God Bless, Bill & Jean O'Donnell

Dear Agenta Family,

My sincerest condolences on the passing of Joe. I had the honor to know him when we played softball and football together in Peabody in the '80's and '90's. Joe cut quite an image at softball with his dilapidated '50's era glove, his penchant for never getting a pitch over the plate, and most importantly, having a one-liner or put down for everyone on the field. Many of his comments were legendary and still make me chuckle even 30 years later. He always seem to save his best for his friend Tony Trepari. After reading his biography, Joe was the epitome of a true American - God, Family, Country - and I hope he was equally so as Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend. My thoughts and prayers are for him and his family at this time.

Joe gave life a great fight. As in war so often, he lost the battle. I remember Joe having the family over for summer clambakes, swim parties and just plain fun. He would sit watching it all, maybe from a distance, but happy to have others enjoy his home. He was a man of few words, but you always knew where his heart was. He will be missed by many, but especially his dear Carol, who cared and loved him almost a whole lifetime.
Our sincerest sympathy is sent to Carol and the boys, Sheryle and Paul

Joe, you will be missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing you. The MHS reunions will be more difficult to attend. As I told you last time we talked," My father always asked about you." Go in Peace Joe, you've earned it.

Sunny and Paul McCauley

It was a privilege to meet you at Kaplan Family Hospice House, again, after so many years. To pray with you and your family and to recount times at St Adelaide Parish, where your family gave so much of themselves. I thank God for Joe's life, and pray that he be at Peace. Please God, Carol, you and your family share in some of the blessed Peace.

Steve Mullin, Care Dimensions/Kaplan Family Hospice House
