Obituary of Katherine T. (Orgettas) Parent

Katherine T. (Orgettas) Parent PEABODY – Katherine T. (Orgettas) Parent, 72, died Sunday January 17, 2016 at the Liberty Commons Facility in Chatham, following a brief illness. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Estelle (Vasilio) Orgettas. She graduated from Peabody High School and Burdette College. She was the Head Pastry Chef at the Kernwood Country Club for many years. Katherine enjoyed reading, cake decorating, and the ocean. She was very devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by a son Chance Parent and his fiancée Tina McKay of West Barnstable on Cape Cod; a brother Nicholas Orgettas & his wife Dolores of Florida & New Hampshire, a niece and a nephew. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Friday January 22, 2016 at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 – 7 P.M. in the funeral home, and on Friday morning after 10 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
