Obituary of Paul V. Costa

Paul V. Costa, 75, of Peabody and formerly of East Boston, loving husband of Nina (Scolletta) Costa, passed away from pulmonary fibrosis on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 with his family by his side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to his retirement, Paul was employed for 30 years with the Gillette Company in South Boston and worked as a Manager of Machine Design. He was an avid reader, loved to cruise and lived for family vacations. Known as “Mr. Fix-It” far and wide, he had a tip and a tool for every job. He is survived by his wife of 56 years and his three daughters and spouses; Paula and Gregg DiPaolo of Dublin, OH, Lyn and Dan Murphy of Sandwich, MA, Donna Costa Caouette of Danvers MA and also Michael Caouette of Peabody, MA. Adored “Pa” of Dylan, Jenna and Anthony DiPaolo, and Christina and Lyndsey Caouette whom he cherished dearly. Also, his kid brother Peter Costa, his wife Donna Hanson and niece Jessica Costa, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Theresa (Kyne) Costa and brother Robert Costa. Calling hours Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. from the funeral home on Saturday, February 6th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody.
