Obituary of Frank Kurkowski
Frank S. Kurkowski, 54, of Peabody, died late Sunday afternoon at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of Josephine (Kasprzyk) Kurkowski of Peabody and the late Alphonse Kurkowski. He had lived in Peabody for most of his life and had attended Peabody Public Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1965.
After High School, he went to work for General Electric as an assembler until his retirement in 1994.
He was a sports enthusiast and had enjoyed movies, reading, traveling and was a lover of all animals. He also was a communicant of the former St, Joseph’ s Church in Peabody.
Besides his loving mother, he is survived by a brother and a sister-in-law, Phillip A. & Carolyn Kurkowski of Peabody; 3 nephews, Jason, Matthew, and Timothy Kurkowski, all of Peabody.
His Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Cahill-
Brodeur facility at 20 Church St., Peabody of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral
Home, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody/
Salem Line at 10:00 a.m. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours on
Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
