Obituary of Nancy E (Vasiles) Carson

Nancy E (Vasiles) Carson, 58, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Monday evening at Salem Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Carson. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late William and Clara (D’Amato) Vasiles. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1975. Nancy was employed from 1978 until 1987 as an administrative assistant at the United Shore Corp in Reading and then from 1987 until 2004 she was an import traffic manager for Amasia International LTD in Stoneham. In 2004 the company was split into smaller companies and she worked various jobs for each. Nancy was an avid Red Sox fan and was a member of the Salem AOH. She was a loving and giving person and her family was everything to her and she especially enjoyed cooking Greek foods having a good time laughing with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her two brothers, Bill and his wife Annmarie Vasiles of Peabody and Chris and his wife Deanne Vasiles of Moyock, NC, her niece and nephew, Megan Vasiles of Moyock, NC and Daniel Vasiles of Greensboro, NC and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visiting hours for Nancy will be held on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private.
