Obituary of Margaret E (Dluznoski) Sarowsky
Margaret E. (Dluznoski) Sarowsky, age 87, died Sunday morning after a brief illness. Margaret was born October 5, 1928 and was raised in Peabody. She was the daughter of the late Steven and Stella Dluznoski. She was the devoted wife of the late John Sarowsky and a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1946.
Margaret worked as a seamstress, making her own clothing from an early age. For a better part of the years she also worked at Royal Stamp Works of Peabody.
A dedicated wife, devoted mother and a loving grandmother. She was the happiest when helping others and being with family. Margaret enjoyed gardening, reading, but the greatest joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson.
Margaret is survived by her children, Diane and James Ryan of Hanover and Paula Clickstein and Timothy Burke of Peabody. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jenna and her husband Adam Gates of Peabody and Steven Clickstein, as well as a great-grandchild, Gavin Gates. She is survived by her sister Jennie Joyce of Peabody and her brother-in-law Walter Sarowsky of Peabody.
Following cremation, her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
