Obituary of Elizabeth Ann (Mc Cormack) Kneeland

Elizabeth A. (Mc Cormack) Kneeland, 63, of Peabody, died Saturday at the Salem Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Daniel R. Kneeland with whom she shared 42 years of marriage. She was born and raised in Jamica Plain, Boston , the daughter of the late James J. and Winifred R. (Lyons) Mc Cormack and was a graduate of Roslindale High School. She had resided in Peabody for the past 41 years. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her children and twelve grandchildren. She belonged to the Town and Country Homemakers Club of Peabody and also enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Surviving her besides her husband are 4 daughters and their spouses, Alison and Simon Vinci, Laura and David Wall and Susan and Carmine Manganiello, all of Peabody, and Deirdre and John Hurley of Danvers, a brother, James Mc Cormack of Navarre, Fl, 2 sisters, Winifred Allen of Albuquerque, N.M. and Eileen Coggins of Peabody; 12 grandchildren, Danielle and Simon Vinci, Ashleigh, Dianna, Timothy and Christina Wall, Thomas, Daniel and David Hurley and Nicholas, Ann Marie and Gina Beth Manganiello and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from the Conway,Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Mem. Park, Peabody. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and Friends kindly invited.
