Obituary of Frank A. Grande

Frank A. Grande, 83 SOMERVILLE – Frank A. Grande, 83, died peacefully on Tuesday March 15, 2016, following an extended illness. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Rafaela (Andronico) Grande. He grew up in the North End of Boston where he attended schools and graduated from high school. Mr. Grande was a Foreman and Heavy Equipment Operator with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Boston area for many years before retiring. Frank enjoyed Karate, singing Italian songs, weight lifting for fitness, and gardening. He is survived by his twin daughters, Joanne Thomas & her husband Mark of Peabody and Jean McCarthy & her husband Doug of Bradford, and a daughter Deborah Ann Grande of Hyde Park; two grandchildren, Zachary Thomas of Peabody and Kayla McCarthy of Bradford; he was the former husband of Hannah (Heckley) Grande of Lynn; a brother-in-law Anthony Maffie of Medford, and two nieces Joan Robblee and Maria Bakopolus. He was preceded in death by a brother Anthony Grande and sister Angela Maffie. A private family Funeral Service was held with burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
