Obituary of Ann M. (DiEoreo) Giampietro

Ann M. (Di Eoreo) Giampietro PEABODY – Ann M. (DiEoreo) Giampietro, 83, beloved wife of the late William Giampietro, died peacefully on Thursday March 24, 2016 at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing & Rehab facility in Peabody, following an extended illness. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late George and Domenica (Fiorenza) DiEoreo. She grew up in Revere where she attended schools. She lived in Peabody for the last 55 years. Mrs. Giampietro was a greeting card specialist at CVS Store at Russell Plaza in Peabody for many years. Ann was a member of the Sons of Italy in Wakefield, enjoyed cooking and family gatherings, and was a longtime member at St. Adelaide’s Church in Peabody. She is survived by a daughter Jan Giudice of Peabody; a granddaughter Kristin Paone of Salem; five sisters, Elvira Zderadicka of Reading, Georgia Procopio of Lynnfield, Rosalie Ducharme of Georgetown, Margaret Petillo of Peabody, and Marilyn Rago of North Reading, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by a son John Giampietro. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
