Obituary of Lottie (Prusak) Davis
Lottie (Prusak) Davis 94 years of Peabody, wife of the late Joseph H. Davis, died Wednesday evening in the Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody.
Mrs. Davis was born on April 4, 1911 in Salem daughter of the late William and Julia (Seveanska) Prusak. She was raised and educated in Peabody and lived in Peabody for most of her life. During WW I she along with her family resided in Poland and her father was the last man killed on Armistice Day at the end of the War I.
Mrs. Davis was employed as a seamstress for 20 years at the Ivory System Company in Peabody. She volunteered for many years at the Peabody Council on Aging, was very active at the Senior Center and won many awards for her dedication in helping disabled citizens. She was also an avid card player and enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Davis is survived by a son and his wife, Robert J. and Barbara Davis of Peabody; a daughter and her husband, Dorothy and Robert Tiplady of Danvers; 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A half sister and 2 half brothers, Sister Alice Budka, Chester and Richard Budka pre deceased her.
At her request services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Peabody Council on Aging, 79 Central St., Peabody, MA 01960. Arrangements are by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody.
