Obituary of Irene C. Pavenski
Irene C. (Rossi) Pavenski, 75, of Safety Harbor,
Florida and formerly of Peabody, Ma., died Friday at the Mease Dunedin Hospital
In Dunedin, Fl. after a year long illness. She was the wife of Theodore S. Pavenski
With whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
She was born in Salem, Ma. on
January 5, 1928, the daughter of the Peter and Carmella Rossi and had resided in
Peabody for 48 years before moving to Florida 8 years ago.
She had been employed at the GTE Sylvania Lighting Company in Danvers for
25 years prior to her retirement 12 years ago.
Surviving her besides her husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Louis
Farinato of West Peabody, a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Katherine Pavenski of Hamilton, 3 brothers, Levandi and Gabriel Rossi of Florida and Claudio Rossi of
NH; a sister, Alba Collins of Florida; 7 grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Justin
Farinato, Peter T., Kerre, Robert and Shayne Pavenski, a great grandchild, her
Step-mother, Carmella Rossi of Lynn and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Teddy Pavenski.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from the Conway
Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility followed by a
Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 a.m. Burial in Cedar Grove
Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
