Obituary of Marianne Pezzulo

Marianne (Stone) (Cole) Pezzullo, 51, of Peabody, died Wednesday March 30 at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of Dean Pezzulo of Peabody. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Warren and Shirley (Brown) Stone. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1983. Marianne was employed as a waitress throughout the North Shore including at Rico’s Café and Stappers Bar and Grill in Salisbury. She also was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and also loved doing arts and crafts. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Alicia Stone and Amanda Cole, both of Peabody, and Ryan Pezzulo of Salisbury, her brother, Arthur Stone of Ossippee, NH, her sisters, Barbara Castaldo of Raymond, NH, and Cheryl Bagley of Salem and by her three loving grandchildren, Ava, Leighton, and Layla Cole. She was predeceased by her two sons, Leland J Cole Jr. and Nicholas Niland and by her siblings, Kevin Stone and Debra Fitzgerald. Visiting hours for Marianne will be held on Wednesday from 10 AM until 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
