Obituary of Norma L. (Bolcati) Perrone

Norma A. (Bolcati) Perrone, 91, of Peabody, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House on Monday, April 11, 2016 with her family at her side. Norma was born in Peabody, on December 17, 1924, daughter of Lucian and Theresa (Magliola) Bolcati. She was raised in Peabody, graduated from St. John’s Girls H.S. in 1947 and was a lifelong resident of the city. Norma devoted her life to creating a home for her family, and later in life she enjoyed spending precious time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and following their accomplishments. In addition to entertaining at holidays and special occasions, Norma enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Danvers YMCA, doing crafts, painting, cooking, sewing, swimming and boating. In addition to her husband Leo with whom she shared 68 year of marriage, she is survived by her children, Earlene L. Perrone of Magnolia, Ernest A. Perrone of Peabody, and Norman A. Perrone and his wife Robyn of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Andrea Reid, James Perrone, Kristen Perrone, Joshua Perrone, Jenna Perrone and Jacob Perrone; 2 great grandchildren, Reagan Reid and Kendell Reid; a godchild, Amy Phaneuf of NH; a nephew, Mark Perrone of Ipswich; and her friend since 1946, Tina Wronkowski. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Ernest A. Bolcati. As per Norma’s request a family private service will be held.
