Obituary of Thomas Charles Novak

Thomas Charles Novak, 60, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Monday morning after being stricken at his home. He had been a resident of Peabody for the past 7 years, coming from Nashua, New Hampshire. Born in Salem on February 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Louis C and Meredith (Breed) Novak. He attended schools in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and received his Bachelors Degree from Boston University and a Masters degree in Urban Studies at the University of Maryland. He worked as and independent Real Estate Appraiser on the North Shore and has spent the last several years working for Vernet Associates in Peabody. He enjoyed swimming and the outdoors and spent his free time at his home in Maine. He is survived by a sister and a brother-in-law, Jane and Gerald Bernier and a nephew, Nathaniel Bernier, all of Lincolnville, Maine A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody.
