Obituary of Gerardino "Gerry" Iantosca

Gerardino “Gerry” Iantosca, 76, of Peabody and formerly of Revere, died Friday evening at the Masconoment Health Care Center following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Guercio) Iantosca with whom he shared over 47 years of marriage. Born in Avellino, Italy, he was the son of the late Fiorentino and Esterina (Moscella) Iantosca. He was raised in Revere and has spent the last 21 years living in Peabody. Besides his loving wife, Gerry is survived by his son, Gerardo Iantosca of Peabody, and his daughter Esther and her husband Vassili Gold of North Andover, and is also survived by his twin brother Felice and his wife Maria Iantosca of Winthrop and by many nieces and nephews. Gerry was a veteran of the Vietnam War who served with the United States Army and then was employed for over 30 years with the Federal Government as a printer before retiring years ago. He also worked part-time at Kappy’s Liquors in East Boston for over 35 years. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St. Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
