Bobby. Leslie, Joel, So very sorry to hear that Doris has passed. She was truly one of a kind....funny, outspoken, kind, loving. I have so many fond memories. I remember your grandparents so well, all the great food your Mom cooked, a weekend at Wells Beach in that small travel trailer with all of you and my son Chris, becoming Leslie's Godmother when I was 10 years old, I even kind of remember Doris' wedding when I was about 3 or 4. I will miss her but she will always be in my memory. I am so sorry that Bob and I will not be there to express our condolences in person. Leslie, I will contact you when Bob and I come up for the summer.

I am very sorry to learn of Doris' passing. Some of my best memories as a kid on Proctor Street come from Doris, she was always so good to us. Her Portuguese sweetbread made her a legend and all her food was memorable. We should all have such wonderful neighbors. My sympathies to Doris' many friends and family. You are in my heart and thoughts.

I'm so glad I have the pleasure of knowing Doris. My knowledge of her is of tremendous vitality. She personifies spunkiness and honesty. Every time I have been with Doris I've walked away smiling and in a good mood. I'll miss her. I also am so moved by the dedication of her family. These are good people. I'm reminded of the following passages:<br>"God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me." Ps 49. "...the true way leads to Life instead of to death, and earthly experience discloses the finity of error and the infinite capacities of Truth..." and "Nothing really has Life but God, who is infinite Life; hence all is Life, and death has no dominion." Science & Health, with Key to the Scriptures by MB Eddy.

Dear Joel and family - I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I believe with all of my heart that the one thing that makes a great mom is her absolute belief that she has GREAT children whom she loves with all of her heart. Such is a very great and deep thing to lose. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Colleen and Joel,<br>I have so many great and funny memories of Doris. She is a woman, who, along with my mom, I have tried to emulate,in some small way,in my life. Strong but deeply caring women whose own personal missions centered around always helping and uplifting family, neighbors and the people in the community who worked to make the community strong. Doris was a support to all of us, most recently hauling a hefty bag full of 11 loaves of her famous Portuguese Sweet Bread to my Dad's funeral reception. One loaf per sibling. She was 88 at the time! But she knew the bread would comfort us, make us smile and sustain us through the sad first days. She was the best and we will miss her very much. xoxo

Bobby, Leslie and Joel;<br><br>I remember your Mom from my childhood as fun and energetic, always involved with the community and with all of your activities. My Mom and Dad would always bump into her down at the elder dances and would tell me yup Doris is still filled with fun and energy. I know what you are going through and please accept my deepest sympathy for this insurmountable loss. (((Hugs))) coming your way<br><br>Love Donna Stockton Nuzzi
