Obituary of June L. (Nichols) Morong

June L. (Nichols) Morong, 81, wife of the late Raymond L. Morong, Sr., of N. Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Peabody, died Saturday, August 30, 2003 at Radius Healthcare in Danvers following a brief illness. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Chester A. and Ruby L. (Grimm) Nichols. A resident of N. Ft. Meyers for the past 24 years, she lived in Peabody for 35 years prior. She enjoyed bingo and cross-stitching. Mrs. Morong is survived by two sons, Raymond L. Morong of Meredith, CT, Leslie A and his wife Marcia Morong of Peabody, one daughter Carol L. Pesti of Fredericksburg, VA, 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one brother, Willard and his wife Shirley Nichols of Andover, MA, one sister-in-law, Edna Nichols of Revere and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Paul Nichols. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 pm. at the Conway, Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, Peabody, at the 12 Chestnut St. facility. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 pm, prior to the funeral service. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
