Obituary of Robert A. Boyle

Robert A. Boyle, 72 PEABODY – Robert A. Boyle, 72, died unexpectedly on Saturday May 7, 2016 at the Beverly Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late George L. Boyle and Catherine (Newell) Boyle. He grew up in Somerville, and lived there many years. He lived in Peabody for nearly 40 years. Mr. Boyle was a mechanic with Herb Chambers in Somerville until an incident at work required him to stop working. Robert enjoyed working in his yard, watching movies, being online and attending Meet Up socials, and travel to Old Orchard Beach in Maine or Foxwoods in Connecticut. He enjoyed the last seven years with his life companion Laurie Howes. He is survived by his fiance Laurie Howes of Peabody; a son Robert A Boyle & his wife Patty of Revere and a daughter Alicia Boyle of Manchester, NH; a step-daughter Tanya Vynorius & her husband Bill of Peabody; a step-son James William Robinson; 2 grandchildren Jenna and Dillon; 5 step-grandchildren, Cody O’Brien and Chase Vynorius, Ethan, Lily, and Fisher; his former wife Diane (Kulpa) Boyle of Peabody, and several friends throughout the North Shore and Boston area. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday May 13, 2016 from 4 – 6:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Ceremony at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.
