Obituary of Frances P Vigliotti
Frances P. Vigliotti, 95, of Peabody, died early Monday afternoon at the Rosewood Nursing Home, following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Angelo Vigliotti.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Santa Fama. She was raised in Somerville and later moved to Medford and has spent the last 56 years living in Peabody.
She was a very active parishioner with St. Ann’ s Church, was a member of the St. Ann’ s Ladies Sodality, and was instrumental in helping getting St. Ann’ s Church built. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, and was active with the Peabody Counseling on Aging for over 10 years.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Angelo and Linda Vigliotti of St. Helena Island, South Carolina; a daughter, Susan Patturelli of Peabody; a sister, Mary Ciccarelli of Medford; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of the late Fred Patturelli and several brothers and sisters.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 am from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4 until 8pm. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, Ma 01923.
