Obituary of Brian John Quade

Brian John Quade, 57, of Swampscott, MA, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 17 at his residence . He was born in Peabody on April 8, 1959, the son of the late Richard A. and Rachel G. (Smith) Quade and was a graduate of Peabody Vocational High School. He had been a machinist at the GTE Sylvania at the Sylvan St., Danvers facility for 15 years and later with Auto Roll Company prior to a disability retirement. Brian was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed fixing and restoring his antique 1941 and1954 Plymouth Cars. He also liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and in recent years he customized his bicycles and enjoyed taking rides along the Swampscott and Lynn coastlines and beaches. He is survived by a son, Michael Quade of Groton, Ct. and a daughter, Justine St. Pierre of Swampscott, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard A. and Patricia Quade of Middleton, his sisters, Linda M. Quade of Winston-Salem, NC and Cynthia L’Abbe of Methuen, MA, his companion, Cathleen E. Baker of Lynn, a sister-in-law, Helen Dupuis of Wilmington, NC and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Dennis Dupuis. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 8:45 AM until 9:45 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody at 10:00 AM.
