Obituary of Linda J. (Pearson) Cornacchio

Linda J. (Pearson) Cornacchio, 48 PEABODY – Linda J. (Pearson) Cornacchio, 48, wife of Fred Cornacchio, passed away peacefully at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington July 10, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous two year battle against breast cancer. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Geraldine “Gerry” (Barrett) Pearson and the late Maurice “Morrie” Pearson. Linda graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 1986, and made her home in Peabody. She most recently worked at Beverly Hospital for 13 years in the housekeeping department. Linda loved to go to Yard Sales where she would buy treasures for her family and friends. She also looked forward to her trips to Maine with Laurie and Robyn. Her love of animals brought Molly, her Pug, and Buttercup, her cat, into her life. Lina’s positive attitude toward life and her infectious laugh always warmed people’s hearts. She was most passionate about her family, where she always hosted holidays and birthday parties for her daughter, Mariah, nieces Kaitlyn Studley and Meghan Broughton, and her nephews John Studley, Tobey McLaren, Winn Broughton, and Patrick Broughton. Linda is survived by her husband Fred Cornacchio of Peabody and her daughter Mariah Cornacchio, both of Peabody; her mother Geraldine “Gerry” Pearson of Peabody; her sister Kathleen Pearson of Salisbury, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Maurice Pearson, her sisters Sharon Studley and Maureen Broughton, and her niece Ashley McLaren. Following cremation, relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Saturday July 16, 2016 from 12:30 – 2:30 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Ceremony honoring her life at 2:30 P.M.
