Obituary of Timothy Paul O'Neil

Timothy Paul O’Neil, 48, died unexpectedly on Friday August 5, 2016 while fishing on Cedar Pond in Peabody. He was born in Salem, MA on July 4, 1968, the son of Maryann (Marino) O’Neil and the late John E. O’Neil III and was a graduate of Peabody Vets. Mem. High School in 1986. He was a member of the Lacrosse team both at Peabody and at Westfield State University where he graduated in 1990. Tim was first employed as a Store Manager for Rent-A-Center stores on the North Shore. Later he operated the Facilicare Company on the North Shore for the past 7 years. Timothy was an avid fisherman both in fresh and salt waters along the North Shore and enjoyed going out in the water with his boat, “Sea-Weeds.” He also was a golf enthusiast playing at the different golf courses in Massachusetts. He is survived by his mother, Maryann of Peabody, his former wife, January (Gill) O’Neil and his son and daughter Alexander O’Neil, age 12, and Ella O’Neil, age 11, all of Beverly, his siblings and their spouses, Jennifer and Stephan Kayal of Peabody, Donna and Derek Drolet of North Hampton, NH, Sarah and Michael Monica of Milford, MA, Brig. General John E. O’Neil IV and his wife Michele of Cranford, NJ and Dennis O’Neil and his companion Cindy Sargent of Danvers, his fiancée Sabrina Washington-Sales of CT and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Katherine O’Neil. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., West Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
