Obituary of Melissa M (Raposo) Rodriguez

Melissa M (Raposo) Rodriguez, 36, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Monday afternoon at her home. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Eduarda (Medeiros) Raposo. She was a life long resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School, class of 1999. Melissa was employed as a sales clerk at the former Ann & Hope store in Danvers before her illness. Family was everything to her and she cherished the time she spent with her daughters, especially her visit to Florida and Disney World. She is survived by her two daughters, Alyssa Raposo and Elizabeth Rodriguez, both of Peabody, her brother and sister-in-law, David and Laurie Raposo of Peabody, her niece and nephew, David and Stephanie of Peabody and also by several dear friends and extended family. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:30 at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., downtown, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
