Obituary of Martha (Stasio) Maffeo

Martha (Stasio) Maffeo, 57, of Peabody MA passed on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston after a 15 year strong battle with lung disease. She was the loving wife of Rino Maffeo. Martha was born in Lynn, MA on December 7, 1958, the daughter of the late Vincent and Virginia (Pittman) Stasio and was a life long resident of Peabody. She graduated from Colby Sawyer College in NH and had been a legal secretary for the law firm of Nutter, McLenan and Fish of Boston. She is survived by her husband Rino, her brother , Michael and his wife Cindi Stasio of Peabody, a sister-in-law, Denise Stasio of Durham, S.C., her dear father and mother-in-law, Giuseppe and Consiglia Maffeo of Itlay, her brothers in law, Antonio Maffeo, Giuilio Maffeo and his daughter, Gilliam and his granddaughter Savannah, her sister in law, Sina Maffeo Luisa, Husband Vito and their sons Massimo and Gianluca, her nieces, Alyse, Amanda, Andrea and Kimberly Stasio and a host of loving friends. She was the sister of the late Paul Stasio and the aunt of the late James Stasio. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
