Obituary of William "Bill" E Brault

William E Brault, 71, of Peabody and formerly of Beverly, died unexpectedly on Saturday evening at his home. He was the beloved husband of Constance (Zulkowski) Brault with whom he shared over 49 years of marriage. Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Edward and Evelyn (Eldridge) Brault. He was raised and educated in Beverly and has spent the last 44 years living in Peabody. While attending Northeastern University, Bill also worked at Aetna Life & Casualty in Boston. Excelling at his new job, he was made one the first insurance auditors in the country. Bill worked in the insurance industry for over 45 years. He retired as Vice President of Marketing for Meadowbrook TPA Associates in Andover. In addition he operated his own company, Brault Risk Management for a number of years. Bill was very active in his community and was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 93 in Peabody. Family was what most important to him and he volunteered to have many family reunions at his home. Disney, camping trips, cabins at Lake St. Catherine, walking the boulders at Lynch Park, Salem Willows and many other activities were how he kept close to his family. Bill also had a tremendous sense of humor and always displayed the highest form of trust, integrity, fairness, loyalty, strength and intelligence. He was admired on so many levels by countless family members, friends and business associates. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Trudy Brault of Salisbury, his two daughters, Heather Ruckman of Peabody and Carey and her husband Ken Maurice of Barre, VT, his brother, John and his wife Barbara Brault of Whitehall, NY, his niece, Tammy and her husband Bill Schmeelke and their daughter Hannah, all of Whitehall, NY, his beloved three grandchildren, Jocelyn and Travis Maurice and Emily Ruckman, and also by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. His Funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., Peabody.
