Obituary of Lori A. (Walsh) Auld

Lori A. (Walsh) Auld PEABODY – Lori A. (Walsh) Auld, 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning August 24, 2016 at her home, while in the comforting presence of her family, after a short illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of Janice A. (Pilling) Walsh of NH and the late William W. Walsh, Sr. She grew up in Lynn, and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1981. She later studied at North Shore Community College. She moved to Peabody where she lived for many years. Lori was an office manager at Building Supply Outlet of Peabody for 21 years. She was an avid fan and season ticket holder with the Boston Bruins. She loved traveling, camping, and especially time spent with her nieces and nephews in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, especially North Conway. She is survived by her son Douglas Auld of Peabody; her longtime companion Kevin Bailey and his two sons Scott & Paul Bailey of Peabody; a brother William Walsh, Jr. & his wife Deborah of Marlborough, MA; two sisters Cheryl Lavigne & her husband Conrad of Seabrook, NH and Catherine Bailey & her husband William of Peabody, and was a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews who were very special to her, and also several cousins. Besides her late father, William Walsh, Sr., she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Walsh. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Monday August 29, 2016 at 10 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 – 7 P.M. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Memorial donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
