Obituary of Kenneth A. East

Kenneth A. East PEABODY – Kenneth A. East, 68, died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 31, 2016 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston following an extended illness. Born in Stoneham, he was the son of the late John E. and Emily (Charter) East. He grew up in Lynnfield where he attended schools. Mr. East worked as an automotive technician with Lynngate AMC Jeep in Lynn for many years before he retired due to health issues. He enjoyed being outside boating, and a strong interest in cars, especially the Ford Mustang, and enjoyed classic rock music of the 1970’s to 1980’s. He was also an avid coin and stamp collector as well as a historian of sorts. He studied the civil war and US history as well as the world wars. He is survived by a daughter Cindi Choate of Berkeley, CA, and two grandchildren Alexis and Justin Choate. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation on Tuesday September 6, 2016 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
