Obituary of Mary Sarah Hammersley

Mary Sarah (LeFave) Hammersley, 86, of Peabody and formerly of Malden, beloved wife of the late Edward J Hammersley, loving mother of Carol Minton of Converse, TX, the late William Hammersley, Edward Hammersley of Nashua, NH, Mary Hammersley of Peabody and Susan Miles of Peabody and was the beloved grandmother of seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother William LeFave. Mary loved dancing with her husband all over the North Shore and Florida and also taught line dancing as well. Her favorite time though, was spending time with her family and sharing in all of their endeavors. She will be dearly missed by all. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody.
