Obituary of Barbara A. (Brzezicki) Bucknam
Barbara Ann (Brzezicki) Bucknam, 62, of Salem, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning at the Salem Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Hattie (Lawicka) Brzezicki. She lived in Peabody for many years and attended Peabody schools.
Ms. Bucknam worked as a Nurse’ s Aide at the former J.B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody, and then was an Assembler for Dahl Shoe before that business closed.
She was a very social person, liked gathering with friends and family, cooking especially Galumpkees and Stuffing, Cannollis, liked Beano and Bingo, dancing at the Winthrop Yacht Club, loved music like Rhythm & Blues, Soft Rock, Barry White, riding the stationary bike, meeting people at the White Eagle in Lynn, and traveling road trips to nowhere and to Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun Casinos.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Ann Bucknam of Lynn; two sons, Allen Bucknam of Manchester, NH and Sean Bucknam of Beverly; nine grandchildren; one sister, Theresa Antoniello of Swampscott, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joanne Roberts.
