Obituary of J Ruth Mazurkiewicz

Jennie Ruth Mazurkiewicz, a former resident of Salem and Peabody and most recently Middleton, died Sunday, September 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund Mazurkiewicz. She was the daughter of the late Tadeusz and Ruth (Murynka) Pszenny. Ruth was the mother of sons Paul Mazurkiewicz of Florida and Mark Mazurkiewicz and his wife Nancy of Bradford and daughter Joan Nigrelli and her husband Gene of Middleton. She was the sister of the late Joseph Pszenny of Danvers. She is the cherished grandmother of Karen Nigrelli of Reading, Michael Nigrelli of Middleton, Erin Mazurkiewicz and Matthew Mazurkiewicz of Bradford. She loved animals, especially her late granddogs Buddy of Bradford, the late Coco of Middleton and her new granddog Nike of Florida. Ruth enjoyed the Red Sox, Patriots and friends at Oak Knoll in Middleton. She also enjoyed shopping at Market Basket. Ruth’s hobby was knitting handcrafted items that she donated to local charities. At Ruth’s request, all services will be held privately.
