Obituary of John Gargas

John Gargas, 54 of Danvers, formally of Peabody died Thursday, September 29th after an accident at his home. Johnny loved everyone and would get so excited when people would stop by his group home for a visit or for a ride to Dunkin Donuts with his Step Mom Pat and his niece Stephanie. Johnny was an avid Boston sports fan. He loved watching the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots and would jump all around the room or sit on the edge of his seat watching with excitement. Johnny also loved game shows and would watch the reruns of the $25,000 Pyramid and Family Feud and would be so proud of himself that he knew all the answers! He also had an amazing gift for counting and remembering numbers. You could ask him when your Birthday was and he could tell you what day it would fall on in any given year. Johnny worked for over 25 years at Heritage Industries in Danvers and was enormously proud of winning employee of the month on numerous occasions throughout those years.
