Obituary of Jeanne Y. (Dube) Rennick

Jeanne Y. (Dube) Rennick PEABODY – Jeanne Y. (Dube) Rennick, 91, beloved wife of the late Francis A. Rennick, Jr., died peacefully on Friday September 30, 2016 at the Rosewood Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Peabody following an extended illness. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Roseanne (Tremblay) Dube. She was raised with her sister in the loving household of Francis and Evelyn Meaney of Salem, and graduated from Salem High School. Mrs. Rennick had worked as a Telephone Switchboard Operator with New England Telephone, and as a Banquet Waitress at the Colonial Hilton and the Raddison Ferncroft Hotels before retiring. She also enjoyed working at Harbor Sweets in Salem for many years after retirement. Jeanne was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody, was an avid knitter, and member of the Telephone Pioneers Club. Family was paramount to her, as she was most passionate about spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always made time to help take care of the many babies in her life, both family and friends. “Nanny” or “Neena” was cherished by her entire family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her six children, four sons and two daughters, James Rennick of Beverly, Deborah Sigman & her husband Theodore of Danvers, Kenneth Rennick & his wife Gina of Ipswich, Richard Rennick & his wife Terry of Beverly, Frank Rennick of Peabody, and Jeanne Arsenault & her husband Edward of Peabody, former daughter-in-law Denise Moreschi of Danvers and two sisters Patricia Bachorowski of Danvers and Francine Morgan of Rhode Island; 11 grandchildren, Jenna Sigman & her husband David Nemeskal, Devon Sigman & her husband Michael Dvorak, Megan Yusah and her husband Jeff, Christopher Arsenault & his wife Shaena, Samantha Livingstone & her husband Robert, Bradley Arsenault & his wife Chelsea, Emily Arsenault, Kyle Rennick, Patricia Wendell & her husband Jesse, Kendra Rennick, Patrick Rennick & his wife Lindsay; 13 great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Sophie, and Beatrice Yusah, Evelyn and Nathaniel Nemeskal, Kylie, Jayden, Mia and Reese Livingstone, Theodore “Téo” and Maya Dvorak, Tucker Arsenault and soon to be baby brother, Savannah Arsenault, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by her sisters Lucille Murphy and Carol Rogers, brothers Norman and Paul Dube and Robert Meaney, and her very dear friend Claire Mosson. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday October 7, 2016 for a visitation from 9:30 – 11:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody.
