Obituary of Nancy A DeLuca

Nancy A (Dillon) Deluca, 74, of Salem, died Thursday afternoon at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Paul D Deluca with whom she shared over 31 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Nancy (Lotti) Dillon. She was raised in Swampscott then Salem, and was a graduate of Salem High School. She later lived in Danvers, and has spent the last 45 years living in Salem. Nancy was employed as a CNA at the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Peabody for over 13 years and then at the Adult Day Care Center at the Torigian Center for a year before she retired a few years ago. Nancy enjoyed cooking Italian food, big holiday parties with family and friends, collecting antiques at yard sales and flea markets, and watching science fiction movies and TV shows. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her son, James Pappas of Hudson, NH and by her sister Dorene Warren of Norwood. She was predeceased by her son Christopher Pappas. Following cremation, her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am until 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
